College Students

Food afficionado Valerie D., a Stanford student, has a keen ear and eye for where the college students go. This page is hers. She also has her own page on eateries at Stanford that complements this one, and it will become more and more comprehensive over time. You can check it out here.

Crepevine (367 University): We like this place because of the speed and wide array of savory and sweet options. We usually go for dinner, so it's nice to be able to pick out exactly what you are craving and enjoy it in a generous portion at a decent price.

T4U (165 University): Stanford students regularly go here, usually late in the evenings right before closing. It's a short walk from the Palo Alto Caltrain stop and also a quick bike ride down Palm Drive if we don't want to wait for the shuttle. I know people who can go through a punch card every week (you get one punch on your 10-punch card for every drink you order, and one free drink per punch card). There is also a Gong Cha (439 Waverley) contingent but it's a trek from the Caltrain compared to T4U.

CREAM (440 University): It's a weekly ritual for many. It's a cult for some. Never mind that you can buy cookies and ice cream en masse and make your own ice cream sandwiches; people go for the experience, the customer service, and the big-city feeling you can get in that long line out the door any night.
